2007
- URALCHEM, OJSC established as a result of the acquisition of controlling
stakes in Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works, OJSC (Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region)
and Azot, OJSC (Berezniki, Perm region).
- Established URALCHEM FREIGHT LIMITED (Cyprus) to provide forwarding
services, trans-shipment in ports and shipment by water-transport of the
Company’s export production.
- Founded URALCHEM-TRANS, LLC to manage the Company’s rail freight
requirements.
2008
- Acquired a controlling stake (71.7%) in Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers,
OJSC.
- Established URALCHEMHandel and URALCHEM TRADING DO BRASIL
LTDA. to develop marketing and sales networks in Germany and Brasil
respectively.
- Acquired a 7.5% stake in Togliattiazot, OJSC.
- Opened Trading House URALCHEM, LLC to promote URALCHEM products in Russia
and the CIS.
2009
- Established a SIA “Riga Fertilizer Terminal” with SIA “Riga Commercial
Port” (RTO), a leading operator of ports and transportation infrastructure in
Latvia. URALCHEM’s stake in Riga Fertilizer Terminal is 51.0%. The main purpose
of Riga Fertiliser Terminal is the development of specialised terminal in the
port of Riga for the transhipment and storage of fertiliser and related
chemical products.
- Acquired a 44.3% stake in Minudobrenia, OJSC (Perm) by URALCHEM Group,
increasing its interest to 46.5%.
- Increased its stake in Togliattiazot, OJSC to 9.7%.
2010
- Increased its stake in Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC to
89.89%.
- Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works, OJSC was dissolved after reorganization in
the form of merger with Mineral Fertilizer Plant of Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical
Works, OJSC.
- Azot, OJSC was dissolved after reorganization in the form of merger with
URALCHEM, OJSC. All property of the production complex was transferred to Azot
Branch of URALCHEM, OJSC in Berezniki.
2011
- Increased its stake in Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works, OJSC to 100%.
- Increased its stake in Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC to 100%.
2012
- Acquired a 41.2% stake in Minudobrenia, OJSC (Perm)
