OJSC Minudobrenia is one of the largest
producers of nitrogen fertilisers in the Urals and Western Siberia.
The plant was built in 1981 and was originally an organisational subdivision
of the State Enterprise "Production Union "Permnefteorgsintez". The Toyo
Engineering Corporation (TEC) of Japan supplied the core technological
equipment. On 1 January, 1992 the enterprise became an independent state
company "Mineral Fertilizer Plant", on 19 November, 1992 it was transformed
into a Joint Stock Company called "Minudobrenia".
The enterprise produces:
• anhydrous liquefied ammonia (grades A, Ak),
• aqueous ammonia for technical use (grades A, B),
• urea (grades A, B),
• low-temperature liquid carbon dioxide, high-pressure liquid carbon
dioxide,
• gaseous oxygen for technical use and
• gaseous oxygen for medical use.
The production is based on modern technologies obtained from such firms as
KELLOGG (USA) - manufacture of ammonia, and Mitsui Toatsu (Japan) - manufacture
of high quality urea products that meet international standards. Quality
management and environmental monitoring systems comply with international
standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
