URALCHEM announces the results of the Meeting of the Board of Directors

URALCHEM, OJSC, one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS, announces the decisions made at the Meeting of the Board of Directors on 7 June, 2008.

Dmitry Mazepin was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of URALCHEM, OJSC.

Also, the Company’s Directors approved URALCHEM’s unaudited condensed consolidated interim financial statements for the three months ended 31 March, 2008 prepared in accordance with IFRS, including condensed interim consolidated balance sheet of URALCHEM, OJSC as of 31 March, 2008, condensed interim consolidated profit and loss statement and cash flow statement for the three months of 2008.

Dmitry Mazepin
Chairman of the Board of Directors of URALCHEM, OJSC

Mr. Mazepin was born in 1968. Graduate of Minsk Suvorov Military School and Moscow State Institute of International relations (Department of Economics). Since the middle 1990s Mr. Mazepin has been holding top-management positions in government institutions and leading companies such as Tyumen oil company, Nizhnevartovskneftegas, Kuzbassugol Coal Company, Russian Federal Property Fund. From 2002 till 2003 Mr. Mazepin held the position of Chief Executive Officer of AK SIBUR.
