URALCHEM participates in Russian Field Day - 2008

Moscow, Russia – July 8, 2008 – URALCHEM, OJSC, (“URALCHEM” or “the Company”), one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS, today announced that it participated in the Russian Field Day-2008, the largest agricultural exhibition in Russia, which took place on July 3-7, 2008, in the Belgorod region.

Around 25,000 specialists from the Russian regions, as well as foreign delegations visited the exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Administration of the Belgorod region, the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the All-Russian Exhibition Centre. Agricultural producers, agricultural equipment companies and fertilizer and plant-protecting agent producers demonstrated their latest products and technologies at the exhibition which covered an area of over 200 hectares.

Dmitry Konyaev, Commercial Director of URALCHEM, commented: “Our Company and its high-quality products are well-known in the Russian market. We are pleased to have such a great opportunity to meet with our existing and potential customers. We hope that the contacts we have established at this exhibition will result in new contracts in the future.”
