The branch of URALCHEM MC, LLC in Berezniki has successfully passed the first supervisory audit of the quality management system

The branch of  URALCHEM MC, LLC in Berezniki has successfully passed the first supervisory audit of the quality management system. Confirmation of the certificate of conformance to the requirements of GOST (State Standard) R ISO 9001 was carried out by State Unitary Enterprise PRONAP, and with the requirements of international standard ISO 9001 – by BUREAU VERITAS Certification. Both certificates are valid until the middle of 2010.

According to the terms of certificate, conformance examinations are to be carried out twice a year. For the first time several major processes were chosen for examination: quality management, transport, products manufacturing, heat technology, design, production development and procurement.

The auditors have noted the well developed documentation of the quality management system, qualified management personnel, and continuity of the policy on production quality.

Quality management system was developed and incorporated in Azot, OJSC in 2004. According to Boris Pachgin, Development Director of Azot, OJSC, «this foundation for quality, environment and industrial safety control systems integration will bring the management of the company to a higher level».
