17.06.2011

June 17, 2011, Lincoln, UK – URALCHEM, the second largest ammonium nitrate producer in the world and full member of the Agricultural Industries Confederation of the UK is again exhibiting at Cereals on June 15-16, the largest agricultural event in the United Kingdom. The company is for the first time presenting the whole range of its fertilizers to the British and Irish markets.

Along with standard fertilizers (ammonium nitrate and urea) URALCHEM’s product line includes innovative products developed to meet the latest trends in the global fertilizer market. This is a key element of the company’s strategy of gaining competitive advantage by producing market-tailored products for individual countries, markets and segments. Today the company can produce 27 different fertilizers, making its business flexible enough to meet virtually any need.

All chemical substances manufactured by URALCHEM are registered with the European Chemicals Agency, the procedure being compliant with Regulation (EU) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

To ensure the agronomic effectiveness of the company’s products, URALCHEM carries out trials under differing soil and climatic conditions in different countries, such as Russia, Poland, Lithuania and the UK. Among the scientific research institutes with which URALCHEM cooperates on a regular basis are: the Life Science University of Poznan, the Lithuanian Agricultural Institute, the Harper Adams University College, the Soil Science Department of The Moscow State University and the Salamon & Seaber laboratory in the UK.

The main groups of fertilizers supplied by the company to the UK and Irish markets are ammonium nitrate and NPKs. Great Britain and Ireland remain key markets for the company’s complex fertilizers. Since March 2010 URALCHEM has been successfully supplying its stabilized ammonium nitrate to the United Kingdom. This is a straight nitrogen fertilizer which contains readily available forms of phosphates. Easy to apply, SAN is an effective product for use in fertilizing all types of crops and soils.
