Due to its chemical properties calcium nitrate has widespread application in various industries. Calcium compounds are main components of cement-based construction materials. Calcium nitrate-based concrete additives increase concrete curing speed, improve strength characteristics and slow down corrosion processes in reinforcing steel.
In oil and gas industry, calcium nitrate, owing to its water solubility and anti-corrosion properties, is used as a component of well killing fluids and in scheduled servicing and work-over of wells.

Norwegian saltpeter (calcium nitrate) includes nitrate nitrogen and calcium in a form that is optimum for uptaking by plants.
Among other useful properties, available calcium improves durability of cell walls. Using calcium fertilizers also notably improves appearance of agricultural products and allows extending their shelf life.
Applying this product improves crop yield by 10-15%, visibly improves consumer properties of vegetables and fruit, and stimulates growth of root system, particularly of its most active zone, i.e. root fibrilla. It facilitates formation of plant cell membranes, enhances cell walls, stimulates plant enzyme activities, metabolism and photosynthesis and accelerates transport of carbohydrates and nitrogen uptake in plants. Crops become more resistant to environmental stress factors and to fungus and bacterial diseases, caused by shortage of calcium, such as blossom end rot of tomato and peppers, internal brown spot in potatoes or apple brown spot. The product also improves storage properties of vegetables and fruit. SOLAR calcium nitrate produces quick effect even in unfavorable climatic conditions, such as low temperature, excessive moisture, drought or low pH. Availability of nitrate nitrogen facilitates absorption of calcium, magnesium and potassium ions and other cathions. This is a proper agricultural solution for problematic acidic soils.
In 2.0 - 3.0% concentration calcium nitrate is applied as a foliar fertilizer, mostly to eliminate symptoms of calcium deficiency in plants. This fertilizer is most effective in regions with hot arid climate and high insolation.

Monoammonium phosphate is a perfect antipyren. This powdery substance is equally effective in extinguishing fires of solid, liquid and gaseous materials (classes of fires A, B and C). Temperature increase, caused by fire, turns this fire-retarding agent into a fusible vitreous substance, which covers hard surfaces by a fire-retarding layer, therefore it can be used to fight both fires, caused by combustion of regular combustible materials, such as wood or paper, and fires that involve combustion of flammable oil products, gas and electrical equipment.
The absence of insoluble impurities provides complete solution of monoammonium phosphate and improves absorption in materials such as fabric, plywood or wood, to achieve high fire resistance of-impregnated materials.

Due to its perfect solubility, this product makes a great source of nitrogen and phosphorus in available form, easy for plants to uptake. The main virtue of NP 12:61, produced under SOLAR trademark, is its high content of water-soluble phosphorus (61% P2O5/ 27% P), while moderately low pH value makes it safer for agricultural application, compared to urea phosphate.

Recommended doses for various watering and irrigation systems: 5 to 15 kg of fertilizer per 1 ha per day

Root fertilization:
vegetable and flower crops 1,0-2,0 g/l;
decorative and berry bushes 1,0-1,5 g/l;
fruit trees 1,0-1,5 g/l;

Frequency: once every 10 to 15 days.

Foliar application with 2-3% solution:

The solution is sprayed onto leaves in the following amounts:

The balanced water-soluble SOLAR Universal 19:19:19 has been developed for compound plant feeding during all stages of growth. The fertilizer ensures the appropriate development of the plants throughout the vegetation period; it can be used in mixtures and combined with most pesticides. The product is based on potassium nitrate, thus excluding unwanted excess and accumulation of salts. It is made ecologically pure raw materials and contains no sodium, chlorine, or heavy metals. The fertilizer is quickly and fully water-soluble.

In open soil fertigation systems, SOLAR Universal 19:19:19 is most efficient, low nutrient soils (sandy, heavy, acid and alkaline). It is equally good for use in greenhouses and for foliar application.

The fertilizer is used in irrigation and fertigation systems, in drip irrigation, and for foliar application.

Foliar application:
Seedlings, 0,3-0,5% solution.
(15-45 g per 10 l of water) after the formation of the second leaf with 7-8 day intervals;
Decorative plants, fruit trees, bushes, flowers: 0.5-1.1% solution (50-100 g per 10 l of water) 2-3 treatments (before flowering and after flowering with an interval of 10-14 days);
Vegetables: 0.3% solution (30 g per 10 l of water) 3 treatments (2 weeks after rootage, and twice during the period of intensive growth with an interval of 10-14 days);
Strawberries, wild strawberries and other berries: 0.3% solution (30 g per 10 l of water) 3 treatments (before flowering, and twice during the period of formation of fruits with an interval of 7-14 days).

Consumption: one 1 kg pack is intended for a 0.3 Ha vegetable garden; for cereals, 2-3% solution (5 kg per 250 l of water) to use in the amount of 200-250 l/ha.
