URALCHEM and Russian Railways have signed an agreement on long-term cooperation aimed at fully meeting the need to transport the growing volumes of mineral fertilizers and other chemicals.

The document was signed by President of OJSC Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov and Board Chairman of URALCHEM Dmitry Mazepin; the ceremony took place at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The agreement intends to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of organisation and provision of rail transportation of agreed URALCHEM's product volumes.

Under the agreement and by implementing a flexible tariff policy, Russian Railways will transport goods in accordance with the agreed long-term plans and as established by regulatory acts.

For its part, URALCHEM will timely provide information on the implementation of its investment projects in order to carry out all the necessary joint activities to ensure the shipment of finished products and the supply of raw materials for production purposes.
