URALCHEM and 1C sign a strategic cooperation agreement

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, URALCHEM and 1C concluded a strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by Dmitry Konyaev, CEO of URALCHEM, and Boris Nuraliev, Director of 1C.

Solutions on the platform '1C: Enterprise 8' have been used by URALCHEM Group companies since 2016, when the corporate system '1C: Payroll and Human Resources Management 8', edition 3, was introduced at URALCHEM Group ahead of other Russian companies. The new 1C product helps unify and automate HR processes and payroll accounting for 10,000 employees of the URALCHEM Group companies in a unified database, whilst taking into account the specifics of the chemical industry.

The signed agreement will promote a partnership in the field of information technologies. One of the key areas of cooperation is the exchange of ideas, methodological practices and design solutions between 1C and URALCHEM to expand the standard functionality of '1C: Payroll and Human Resources Management 8 CORP', with consideration for effective, proven business processes. The next stage will be the development of corporate systems in the field of performance management, personal data security, employee health protection and paperless document circulation using the '1C: Enterprise' software platform.

Svetlana Chekalova, Human Resources Director of URALCHEM, said, 'We appreciate the possibility of direct interaction with Russian 1C developers, which allows creating new software solutions and finished products that are in demand by various business entities, with minimal modifications and enhanced system performance. Since 2016, after the introduction of the new generation '1C: Payroll and Human Resources Management 8' system by our company, which was presented in the Russian corporate market for the first time, it has been possible to effectively consolidate and make HR processes transparent in a single database covering the entire URALCHEM Group. We managed to solve all the issues and problems that emerged during the initial implementation by virtue of reliable partnership relations with 1C.'

'Such agreements give us the opportunity to further analyse the specifics of the work of Russian companies in the chemical industry and to consolidate the best management practices in tools and solutions based on the '1C: Enterprise 8' platform. This is an important area of our work, and we will continue to develop it,' Boris Nuraliev, Director of 1C, said.
