URALCHEM and Siemens Mobility conclude cooperation and partnership agreement

The document was signed at 23rd Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum by Sergey Momtsemlidze, CEO of URALCHEM, JSC and Sabrina Soussan, CEO of Siemens Mobility.

The concluded agreement is aimed at the development and implementation of digital solutions in the railway transport area.

Sergey Momtsemlidze, CEO of URALCHEM, JSC commented the signing:

‘Concluding the agreement on strategic partnership with the world’s railway automatics leader will facilitate our company to pass the new technological level. It will allow not only to get access to modern high technology but also to participate in their adaptation and localization for the market of industrial railway transport of track 1520. Using logistics management complex of the new generation based on the most advanced technologies, AI including ultra-deep artificial neural networks usage will increase work efficiency of our access roads, productivity, safety level, and also reduce unproductive idle time of locomotives and wagons’.

Sabrina Soussan, CEO of Siemens Mobility in its turn emphasized:

‘This is the next step in expanding cooperation with URALCHEM and digitalization of Russian railway infrastructure and logistics. Due to Siemens Mobility solutions URALCHEM will be able to operate vehicle fleet more effectively, regularly increasing its value during the life cycle and contributing to the railway infrastructure modernization’,– noted Sabrina Soussan, Chief executive officer of Siemens Mobility.
