Uralchem Joins the Artificial Intelligence Alliance

Uralchem signed a memorandum to join the Artificial Intelligence Alliance. The official ceremony, held in Moscow as part of the AI Journey 2022 international conference, was attended by a Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and the CEO of Uralchem Dmitry Konyaev.

The main goal of the Alliance is to bring various organisations together to jointly develop their expertise and accelerate introduction of AI technologies in education, research and business.

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia:

I am happy to see a continuous expansion of the pool of leading organisations that actively develop and implement their own artificial intelligence technologies. Today, five new members are joining the AI Alliance, which was given a very ambitious task to become the main AI centre in Russia and thus ensure our country’s global technological leadership.

Dmitry Konyaev, Uralchem CEO:

Uralchem sees a great potential in applying artificial intelligence in agriculture. Solutions developed by Digital Agro help agrarians employ data analysis to make correct decisions and improve efficiency of their business. Our proposal is to set-up an agribusiness block within the AI Alliance to allow members of the industry to combine their efforts and create transformational products and services. I am positive this will achieve a significant effect for the industry in general.
