Uralchem Group Presents New Products for Russia, Latin America, and South-East Asia

Uralchem Group (the Company) is expanding its product portfolio to access new markets and increase sales. In 2023, the Company completed over 70 field tests of new products, and its product range now boasts 15 new products, with five more grades under development.

In particular, sales of seven new NPK grades started for producers of high-margin crops in Brazil, Columbia, and Venezuela. Also, trial lots of a new blue-coloured NPK fertiliser were produced for Indonesia and the Philippines.

NPK Solar, a line of higher-end products, was expanded. The line now includes fertilisers containing amino acids, growth stimulators, and biological surfactants to better capture fertiliser droplets on plant leaves during foliar feeding.

Also expanded was the Company’s range of liquid products. This segment’s new fertilisers are MicroSolar Liquid Boron and MicroSolar Liquid Zinc, a premium product which is in high demand in Russia and CIS countries and which will become a complementary product to NPK Solar fertilisers.

Uralchem was the first company in Russia to introduce MultiStart, a line of biomodified fertilisers. In 2023, it was improved to suit a wider range of crops. Around 20 field tests were held, which demonstrated that the MultiStart’s impact on crop yield was greater compared to conventional NPK and NPKS products offered by the market. For instance, the tests in the Russian Republic of Dagestan reported a 24% gain in the yield rate for melons, 22% for tomatoes, 22% for watermelons, and 12% for cabbage. Following the successful testing, the Company intends to further expand the MultiStart line.

Uralchem also pioneered the use of aerial drones for fertilisation. With this technique, fertiliser can be applied remotely in almost any conditions.
