URALCHEM raised output of products in the first quarter of 2015
Moscow, Russia. April 22, 2015. The output of products of all URALCHEM Group enterprises in the first quarter of 2015 amounted to 1.5 million tons of products. The output increased by 3.5% y-o-y.
The output of ammonia increased by 19%, up to 216 thousand tons. The output of complex fertilizers increased by 8%, up to 142 thousand tons. The output of urea increased up to 305 thousand tons, being by 6% greater than in January – March 2014. Production of ammonium nitrate amounted to 766 thousand tons, having increased by 1% y-o-y.

Dmitry Konyaev, CEO of URALCHEM OJSC, commented on the results of the company’s activity for the first quarter of 2015: “The Group enterprises worked consistently in the first quarter of the current year. The new development strategy of URALCHEM, adopted at the end of last year, envisages gaining of maximal product output scope for the available capacities. We constantly work on increasing output energy and resource effectiveness as well as increasing daily power unit output. The results are already seen – our output indicators are increasing”.
