70 cars for low-income large families in Kirov region donated by Uralchem

Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region of Russia, September 24, 2012. In the Kirov region of Russia, URALCHEM starts its "URALCHEM for Large Families” social support campaign. Within it,70 low-income families that have many children will receive a Lada-Granta car as a gift from URALCHEM.

The campaign focuses on the social support of needy families with a large number of children, creating conditions to improve their financial situation and quality of life, as well as the social attractiveness and prestige of having a large family.

The program embraces low-income families with 5 and more children and covers eight districts of the Kirov region. It is no coincidence that company choose this districts. The five employees of URALCHEM that are members of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region, represent the people of these districts in the regional Parliament. These deputies led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of URALCHEM, deputy Dmitry Mazepin, have initiated the campaign.

Dmitry Mazepin, Chairman of the Board of URALCHEM, member of the Kirov Region Legislative Assembly:

"In the Legislative Assembly, we been constantly raising the issue of difficult demographic situation in the region. The population decreases from year to year. Therefore, it is very important to support those who help alleviate this problem by building large families. URALCHEM has responded to our initiative and assisted those who are in most need of support, namely low-income families with many children. We strongly hope that with this step, there will be more children in Kirov families and they will live a better life."

The company also granted 20 litres of petrol and car insurance for every 70 vehicles.

Sergey Momtsemlidze, Director of the Kirovo-Chepetsk branch of URALCHEM, the Kirov Region Legislative Assembly:

"Our enterprise is the largest in Kirovo-Chepetsk, so we regularly help the city in address its most acute challenges. In 2012, more than 200 million roubles returned to the city through above-plan taxes. This allowed to build a kindergarten and a block of flats with service apartments for state employees and young professionals. The programme "URALCHEM for children" is already successfully underway supporting children’s sports. The new initiative for large families continues our social policy throughout the region."
