URALCHEM ramped up production in the first quarter of 2016
Overall production of URALCHEM Group in the first quarter of 2016 reached 1.6 million tons. Thus, its output has grown by 4% compared with the same period last year.
Output of phosphoric fertilizers has grown by 157% reaching 43 thousand tons. Output of ammonia and azotic fertilizers has remained at the same level as in the first quarter of last year. Output of complex fertilizers reached 178 thousand tons, having increased by 25% compared with the same period in 2015.

Dmitry Konyaev, CEO of URALCHEM JSC, commented on the company’s performance in the first three months of 2016: “Results of the first quarter of 2016 have been as good as in the same period last year, and in some aspects even better. It has become possible due to stable operation of our facilities and capacity utilization resulting, among other things, from high domestic demand. We plan to produce 6 million tons of saleable products this year.”
