Sustainable development

The global sustainable development agenda identifies the current challenges companies are facing worldwide, and motivates them to address the needs of a wide range of stakeholders, to revise strategies and business models. The Sustainable Development Goals are designed to promote the long-term interests of society and business.

Uralchem is convinced that the systemic integration of ESG* practices, which cover environmental and social aspects and corporate governance, into the Company's day-to-day operations and strategy will contribute to its long-term success. We also pay special attention to climate change issues.

The year 2025 marked the completion of our first ESG Strategy, which was adopted in 2021, and we achieved most of the strategic goals. The results achieved and practices established during the five-year strategic cycle formed the basis of our new Sustainability Strategy 2028. While maintaining continuity in key areas, it places a stronger emphasis on occupational safety, environmental protection, regional development, and sustainable agriculture.

* ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) stands for managing environmental safety and social well-being of the parties affected by the company's activities, as well as corporate governance and economic soundness of the Company.
