Air

Uralchem pays special attention to the protection of ambient air and strives to reduce air emissions from its operations. The Company’s facilities regularly improve production processes and treatment plants, carry out production and analytical control of emissions and comply with established emission standards. During unfavourable meteorological conditions, facilities are obliged to perform actions to regulate their emissions.

As part of production environmental monitoring, specialists from accredited labouratories check compliance with emission limits at sources of pollution and also monitor the state of ambient air along sanitary protection zones of the facilities and in the residential areas. 


In order to protect the air, the Company’s facilities carry out the following key measures:

• improve production processes
• repair and upgrade process equipment
• reconstruct and upgrade gas treatment plants
