Uralchem and Russian Railways have signed an agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at providing rail transportation of the company's products.

The document was signed at Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum by
Uralchem’s Board Chairman Dmitry Konyaev and CEO of RZD – RZD’s Management Board Chairman Oleg Belozerov.

According to agreement, RZD intends to carry out the transportation of Uralchem's cargo in the agreed volumes, as well as to implement a flexible tariff policy in accordance with the procedure established by normative acts.

Uralchem, for its part, intends to maintain the volume of cargo shipments in the long term, not lower than the level of 2020.

Dmitry Konyaev, Uralchem’s Board Chairman:

"Russian Railways is one of the key partners of Uralchem, on which the implementation of our company's plans largely depends. We highly appreciate the existing constructive cooperation and plan to strengthen it in the future. The implementation of the cooperation agreement will help meet the growing demand of mineral fertilizers consumers, ensure uninterrupted supplies, especially for Russian agricultural producers, and increase the volume of cargo transportation of Russian Railways".
