Uralchem Group Presents Comprehensive Solutions to Develop African Agribusiness at the Golden Autumn – 2025 Exhibition

Uralchem Group took part in a series of events focused on the development of agricultural cooperation with African nations within the Golden Autumn – 2025 international exhibition.

In particular, the Group organised a special workshop for delegates from several African countries. During the workshop, titled “Fertilisers, Plant Protection Agents, and Application Techniques”, representatives from Uralchem JSC and its subsidiary AgroSignal presented practical solutions for increasing productivity and sustainability of agriculture on the African continent, and also introduced specialised IT systems for more automated and efficient farm management.

Uralchem’s Marketing Director Olga Poltavskaya also participated in the exhibition’s plenary session hosted by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, where she delivered a presentation “Ensuring Africa’s Self-Sufficient Future with Russian Agricultural Technologies”. In her speech, Olga outlined three most promising areas for cooperation: joint educational projects & knowledge sharing workshops; the implementation of comprehensive IT solutions for agribusiness management; and the development of customised nutrition systems for specific crops and areas.

Olga Poltavskaya, Uralchem Marketing Director:

Africa possesses an immense potential for agricultural development. Local demand for agricultural products is showing confident growth, driven by a growing population in general and middle-class households in particular. However, the productivity of the continent’s agricultural sector remains low. As a global leader in the production of mineral fertilisers and the creation of high-efficiency agricultural solutions, we are ready to support the development of Africa’s agricultural sector and pursue comprehensive efforts to ensure sustainable productivity growth for its agribusiness.

Using IoT technologies, the platform collects and processes real-time data from sensors installed on farm machinery and workstations, enabling farmers to make fast and informed decisions through transparent recording and monitoring of all production processes. By 2025, AgroSignal has become one of the most widely used digital solutions in Russian crop farming, demonstrating exponential growth thanks to its expanding functionality and deep industry expertise of its specialists.
