Uralchem Receives Top Rating in RAEX’s ESG Assessment

The sustainable development practices of Uralchem (the Company) underwent an assessment by the RAEX rating agency. The Company received 74 points out of 100, which corresponds to Rating Class A.

In the assessment, RAEX analysed the Company’s practices in each of the three ESG components.

In the Environmental component, the agency noted Uralchem’s water efficiency and supplier engagement efforts, as well as other measures to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.

The Social component received a high score for community relations, employee support, and human rights initiatives. Also noted were infrastructure, educational, sports, and social programmes.

Governance-wise, RAEX looked at the Company’s activities related to cybersecurity, data protection, and business ethics, as well as its systemic approach to sustainability information disclosures.

The agency also rated highly the management of ESG risks.

In its report, RAEX registered a positive momentum in how Uralchem develops and implements its sustainable development practices and initiatives.
