Uralchem Group Expands Sales in Thailand Under Its Own Brand

Uralchem Group is expanding its presence in the Thai market, growing its partner network and working directly with farmers to offer them products and services under the Uralchem brand. The announcement was made at the Group’s dealer conference, held on 17–18 October in the Nonthaburi Province of the Kingdom of Thailand. The event brought together representatives of 25 of the largest local dealerships.

Uralchem-branded products are already available in a number of regions across Thailand, and sales are set to extend to 18 provinces in the near future. The branded range includes high-performance premium complex granular and water-soluble fertilisers, as well as the basic fertilisers most required by the local market — urea, monoammonium phosphate, and granular muriate of potash.

Thailand is a major food exporter, which plays an important role in global agriculture. According to the national strategy for the transformation of food systems, agriculture accounts for 8–10% of the country’s GDP and employs around 30% of the economically active population. In recent years, the agricultural sector of Thailand has been undergoing active reform, which triggered an increase in the demand for efficient agricultural technologies, including modern fertilisers.
