Sport projects
SPORT IS AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF OUR CORPORATE CULTURE
We at Uralchem love sports, and therefore actively encourage athletic activities for amateurs and professionals. Corporate sports are an integral part of our corporate culture, and the health and well-being of our employees are crucial values of the Company.
A significant element of Uralchem’s charity and social activities is the support of various sporting projects. We arrange winter and summer athletic games, hold free exercise sessions, construct new gyms and multi-functional venues, and help regional clubs and communities.
In addition to specific projects, the Company promotes a healthy living philosophy among its employees and their families.

Support of professional and amateur sports
Uralchem leads a range of regional and federal sporting projects, and arranges numerous competitions, cups and championships in different athletic disciplines. We also invite global athletic celebrities to conduct masterclasses and host tournaments.
In particular, the KCKK branch sponsors a children’s ice hockey club in Kirovo-Chepetsk, and helps arrange competitions in swimming, Greco-Roman wrestling, and judo. The PMU and Azot branches support the Swimming Federation of the Perm Region.

Corporate Sports
Each year, around 8,000 thousand people participate in Uralchem’s athletic activities. There are regular festivals of sports, tournaments in skiing and track-and-field, and athletic games held between different shops of the same plant. Prize winners are then sent to regional and national competitions. Employees are also given vouchers to swimming pools, fitness centres and specialised clubs.
The Company tries to add an athletic flavour to the biggest national and industry holidays like the New Year, the Day of the Chemical Industry Worker or the Physical Education Day. Employees can also take part in regular hiking and rafting tours.

Children’s Sports
Olympia
Uralchem is a strategic partner of the Olympia children’s ice hockey school. The school’s famous alumni include Alexander Maltsev, Vladimir Myshkin, and Andrey Trefilov, who all were on the USSR national hockey team and earned an impressive collection of medals from the World Cups and Olympic Games.
We also support a children’s ice hockey club in Kirovo-Chepetsk, where talented young athletes are able to train and compete in proper conditions.

Champion’s Mission
As part of the Champion’s Mission regional programme, Uralchem invites Olympic champions, professional athletes, and opinion leaders to meet with local communities to hold masterclasses, conduct autograph signing sessions, engage in discussions or give practical lessons.
The programme seeks to motivate young people for personal and professional achievements through positive role models and success stories.
Among the famous participants of the programme are Vyacheslav Fetisov, Aleksey Kasatonov, Alexander Mikhaylin, Datsi Datsiyev, Alexander Popov, Vladimir Selkov, Vlada Chigiryova, Roman Vlasov, Aleksey Mishin, Alexander Guskov and many others.
